Last July the pain in my neck had become intolerable 24/7.
I was unable to find a comfortable position to sit or sleep.
Eventually I could no longer keep up my daily routine. I was
unable to get relief from OTC pills or RX pain pills. I saw
Dr. Brady's flyer in my newspaper and called for a consultation
appointment on July 31st. At the conclusion of this appointment,
my LCD treatments were started. The treatments weren't painful
and were followed with a relaxing moist heat treatment. I
felt relief right away and with more progress with each treatment.
I'm able to get restful sleep and again became comfortable
with my pillow. Presently I only feel some minor soreness.
I highly recommend Dr. Brady and his competent and friendly
staff. I was always made to feel so welcome at each visit.
In my future, I hope for this treatment for budging discs
in my lower back. Thank you Dr. Brady and each and every one
of your caring staff.

I had been suffering with low back pain for 10-15 years. It
had gotten to the point that I was feeling "tingling"
down my legs and I was feeling numbness in my toes. I had
tried everything from pain killers, physical therapy, to epidurals
to relieve the pain, but was not seeing much result. I decided
to check out Dr. Brady and the Decompression Therapy to see
if it would benefit me. Dr. Brady said I was a candidate and
I started right away. During the first few treatments, I was
pretty skeptical, but a couple weeks into the treatments,
I had started noticing some positive changes. Now that my
original treatments are over, I feel so much better. I have
decided to continue on a re-hydration plan that consists of
coming in once a month to maintain pain free. I highly recommend
Decompression Therapy to anyone with disc problems and I recommend
getting it done as soon as you can. Dr Brady is a very caring
person and he truly cares about each patient. He also takes
the time to ask if you have any questions. He is not the type
that pushes you out the door fast and has no idea how you
are feeling. His office personnel and therapists are very
friendly and concerned for you. They go out of their way to
be sure you are getting the proper care you need. Marcia helped
with any insurance problems with ease and I like that I can
call at any time and get an appointment that works for me.
Cynthia is a bubbly, friendly, caring person and she knows
how to answer questions that the patients have. I can't say
enough about how great all of you make me feel!

All of the staff at Dr. Brady's office are nice to me when
I go there. Before I came to Dr. Brady, my other doctors gave
me very painful treatments they didn't fully explain (4 inch
needle in my spine). When I saw Dr. Brady my back felt better
within 2 weeks. He and his staff get things right the first
time and I can walk and am much more comfortable without surgery
or the painful needles. Occasionally there is a little discomfort
in the adjustment, but way less than the needles. I would
recommend the decompression therapy to anyone and everyone
who suffers from pain.

I started seeing Dr. Brady after an automobile accident. I
sustained mid to lower back injuries, left arm, hand, and
shoulder as well as injuries to my left leg. I could hardly
walk when I started therapy and spinal manipulations. My progress
was slowed due to not having the proper pair of shoes. When
we got the proper, specific to me, insoles in the proper shoes,
then treatment began to really take hold and my ability to
walk further distances was increased. Dr. Brady has restored
feeling in my hand and arm, specifically in the last two fingers
of my left hand. As long as I stay on the recommended maintenance
program prescribed by Dr. Brady and continue wearing my new
shoes that I bought last week, I've been virtually pain free.
You won't find a staff more courteous than the staff at Dr.
Brady's Accident and Injury Center. I highly recommend Dr.
Brady, who has helped me more than any other chiropractor
to date. For that I am greatly appreciative to Dr. Brady and
his wonderful, compassionate staff.

I have had chronic back pain for over 20 years. MD's just
gave me pain medication which I did not want to take on a
regular basis because of the side effects. I had physical
therapy, and again no help. I tried chiropractic which helped
but wasn't the answer because it only helped for a bout 2
weeks and the pain was back. I felt like it would be only
a matter of time before I was in a wheelchair. I had curtailed
most activities and had even given up walking, which was my
only exercise. I then heard of Dr. Brady and decied to try
spinal decompression. After only one treatment I felt better
and after finishing my treatments I had resumed my housework,
activities, and even did some gardening. My husband tells
me I stand straighter. I am definitely a believer!

To
say that I was skeptical in an understatement. I have always
been suspicious of chiropractors, having once been told by
a medical doctor that chiropractors were nothing more than
a bunch of "quacks that could not make it in real medicine".
But I had reached a point on desperation. Two years earlier,
I herniated the L4/L5 and the L5/S1 discs in my back playing
rugby. I never realized they were herniated, they just ached
a little more after each game. But one morning, I woke up
in excruciating pain, unable to sit up, roll, or hardly move.
After being rushed to the hospital, I was given several pain
injections and treated for sciatica associated with my disc
injury. Thus began two years of physical therapy and pain.
I refused to have surgery done, I am only 33 and I did not
want to resort to what I felt was a drastic measure that could
possibly make me worse. So I suffered and went on with life.
My back pain would ebb and flow based on my amount of activity,
but it was always there, preventing me from really living
my life the way I wanted to.
About
five months ago, the pain became so strong, that I could no
longer function normally. I had to cut out all extra activities
and was barely hobbling through work. On my way home one day,
I saw the billboard for Dr. Brady and I though, "It can't
make me any worse". I called immediately and made an
appointment for the next day. The staff was very friendly
and explained the procedure and answered all my questions.
I decided to go home and ruminate on the idea for a few days.
It was hard to overcome my distrust of chiropractors. Finally
I decided I had to do something, as I was almost walking double
by this time. At my first treatment, I was nervous, I had
undergone traction before and experienced severe muscle spasms,
and I was afraid that was going to happen again. Cynthia,
the LCD technician, explained how decompression therapy was
different from traction in that it was timed to prevent the
painful spasms. I left my first treatment with no change in
my back pain, but hopeful none the less that improvement would
come. As I continued to come in for treatments, I started
to grow discouraged. Several people I spoke to had experienced
a noticeable change the first week of treatment, but here
I was on week three and I still did not feel any change. Cynthia
and Kathy (the other LCD tech) were very encouraging, telling
me to hang in there, it would get better. I continued to come
in, only because I refused to give up. I completed my treatment
and really did not feel any different. The pain was slightly
improved, but not to the level I was expecting. I left my
final treatment very despondent, resigning myself to the fact
that I was going to have to undergo back surgery. But as the
week wore on, I started to notice that my pain was gone. I
had no sciatica pain and I was able to move freely. I believe
that once my body was able to adjust to no longer being pulled
and stretched, it finally calmed down and I was able to accurately
gauge the extent of my recover.
Today,
I am actively involved in Taekwondo and Judo, and have been
able to start competing. Initially I would have never recommended
LCD to anyone, but now, I can not sing its praises loud enough.
I truly feel I have had my quality of life returned to the
state I wanted it to be at
high!

I always am active with sports. My back started hurting because
I had two bulging discs. My parents took me to the chiropractor
and then massage therapy. My back got to where I could hardly
move. We kept going to physical therapy. After the physical
therapy, I felt good until I started playing basketball again.
I then started the Decompression Therapy. After the first
two weeks, my back felt a lot better. I was able to go on
playing through the summer. By the end of my visits I felt
almost normal. The machine was gentle and painless. I would
definitely recommend this to others!

I
have suffered with low back pain due to compression for 20+
years. In 1986 I had surgery on a disc bulge at my L5 - S1
area. The pain was lessened from extreme to a constant soreness.
After doing years worth of chiropractic, I learned of the
LCD Spinal Decompression Therapy at Dr. Brady's and decided
to give it a try. The treatments were very relieving; in fact,
they were relaxing enough that I was told I'd occasionally
doze off during treatments. Since the treatments, I've become
much more limber and have even gained a little height. By
continuing with regular chiropractic care after the decompression
treatments were done, I am able to remain mostly pain free.

I had hurt my back in January 2006. I had gone to my Dr. and
then specialists up until May of 2006 when I was hospitalized
for the stomach problems cause me to loose 40 pounds. My Dr.'s
had no clue what was wrong with me. After being hospitalized,
it was discovered that I had protruding and bulging discs.
I immediately started LCD Therapy and for the first couple
of treatments they really hurt and I didn't want to come back.
But I continued and after a couple weeks my symptoms had gone
away and I was able to keep food down and get off of the Hydrocodone.
I continued the full 20 sessions and to my surprise, the LCD
Therapy had completely healed my buldging discs. I owe so
much to Dr. Brady and his staff. They made me feel like I
was their #1 patient and genuinely concerned for my well being.
Thank you so much for your dedication to helping me!

In March of 2007 I was involved in an automobile accident.
Since the accident, I had severe pain in my neck, shoulders,
and upper back. I heard about the Non-Surgical Decompression
at Dr. Brady's office and decided to look into it. Dr. Brady
was confident that the Decompression Therapy would help me.
The first few treatments were a little uncomfortable, but
the more treatments I did, the easier they became. Since I
finished my treatments, I am completely pain free in my upper
back, shoulders, and neck. Thank you Dr. Brady and your wonderful
staff for helping make me pain free!

For
10+ years, I had dealt with low back pain. From about November
2006 till April of 2007, the pain had significantly increased
and was almost unbearable. Due to the pain, I had gained a
large amount of weight and was becoming very depressed because
of the weight gain and living with the constant pain. I started
Decompression Therapy with Dr. Brady in April of 2007 and
started to see some relief almost right away. The first couple
of treatments were a bit painful but they soon became pretty
comfortable. A few weeks into treatments, I was able to go
shopping for about 3 hours with my mother, something I hadn't
done in a very long time! Since ending my treatments, I have
become pretty much pain free. There are very seldom times
now that I have the need to take a pain pill. I have been
able to start speed walking and in about 6 week's time, I
had lost 20 pounds. This has helped bring my spirits back
up and I overall feel much better! Thank you so much to Dr.
Brady and his staff for giving me my life back!

My experience in the Spinal Relief Center of Kansas has been
a success. Before coming to the center, I had four epidural
injections in my lower back for a bulging disc. The injections
only last a few weeks with little pain. Within three and a
half months, I decided to visit Dr. Brady. Within 10 visits,
I began to feel no pain in my lower back and very little pain
in my legs and thighs. After 20 visits my lower back and legs
and thighs are pain free!

In
the early month of June on, I had a bad pain in my lower back.
I got a letter in the mail that Dr. Brady had a new machine
called Decompression and was a therapy for back pain. My wife
said "Why not try it, you've tried everything else",
so I called and made an appointment. I did the therapy after
finding out that I had two budging discs in my lower back.
It worked and I'm glad I came!
